When compared to past, not-on-the-beach hotel stays, being right on the beach has lengthened our beach trip - - it's quicker to fit-in beach fun, as well as avoid the search for parking. Enjoyed coffee on the balcony (and the ocean view) in the morning and my wife's embrace on the balcony in the evenings ... did I mention that we stayed with our 3 kids? Had a memorable time!

We made a reservation for Tuesday, August 23, but problems came up at home and we had to cancel on Sunday. The desk manager on duty, Bree, was very nice to us and didn't charge us a fee for early departure (72 hours notice required). We love the Outer Banks and we WILL come back to stay at the Nags Head Inn after being treated so well!!
