In addition, you can enjoy the Roanoke Island fireworks display over the Roanoke Sound. Come visit and take advantage of the views and some great summer specials!

The Outer Banks will have the following fireworks displays on the Outer Banks:

Nags Head Fireworks – at Nags Head Pier at 9:25 p.m. on the Nags Head Fishing Pier located at Mile Post 11.5 on S. Virginia Dare Trail in Nags Head

The Lost Colony 76th Anniversary Season

lost colonyThis is the 76th Anniversary Season of Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Paul Green’s The Lost Colony. This symphonic drama recounts the historical events leading to the disappearance of the first English colonists who settled on Roanoke Island over 400 years ago. A live performance featuring epic battles and Indian dances to the pageantry of the Queen and her court.

Event Details:

The Lost Colony is located  a short drive away from the Nags Head Inn on Roanoke Island.

Waterside Theatre, Roanoke Island. May 31 – August 22. Monday – Saturday, 8:30 p.m. Adults half price on Saturday nights. Children 12 and under free on Monday nights. Backstage tours at 7:30 p.m. Admission.
